子供の頃から映画を観るのが好きで、
次第に「俳優」にも興味を持ち始める。
特にハリウッドや韓国の映画・俳優に魅了され、
プロフィールを片手に単身、韓国に渡る。21歳。
端役ながら韓国映画「ビースティ・ボーイズ」
（2008年ハ・ジョンウ/ユン・ジョンビン監督）
に出演。映画デビュー。
帰国後、本格的に英語・芝居の勉強をすべく、
ノース・ハリウッドとも言われる、
カナダ・バンクーバーに単身進出。
短編映画を中心にキャリアを重ねる。
25歳。日本に拠点を戻した後、俳優養成所
UNITED PERFORMER'S STUDIO (UPS)に入学。
３年間、メソッド演技を基盤に、
改めて芝居の基礎を学びながら、
小劇場での舞台出演にて経験を積む。
卒業後、2014年度フジテレビ終戦記念ドラマ
「命ある限り戦え、そして生き抜くんだ」
で、日本においての映像、ドラマデビュー。
その後、日本映画の世界で地道にキャリアを積み、
「図書館戦争THE LAST MISSION」
(2015年 佐藤信介監督)
「秘密 The Top Secret」(2016年 大友啓史監督)
「SCOOP！」(2016年 大根仁監督)
「土竜の唄 香港狂騒曲」(2016年 三池崇史監督)
などに出演。
仮面ライダーアマゾンズシリーズに出演。
2016年のシーズン1、2017年のシーズン2、
劇場版「仮面ライダーアマゾンズ最後ノ審判」
連続ドラマのレギュラーとして初参加。
2018年以降は英語での演技、
ハリウッド作品に比重を置き、出演作は、

Kazuya has loved movies since he was a child, which led him to pursue acting.
At 21, inspired by Hollywood and Korean films, he moved to Korea by himself and made his film debut in *Beastie Boys* (2008).
After returning to Japan, he decided to improve his English and acting skills, so he moved to Vancouver, Canada. There, he built his career through short films.
At 25, He went back to Japan and studied acting for three years at United Performer's Studio (UPS), where he focused on method acting and performed in small theater productions.
In 2014, he made his Japanese TV show debut in the Fuji TV war drama *Fight As Long As You Live*.
Kazuya continued to grow his career with roles in Japanese films such as:
- *Library Wars: The Last Mission* (2015)
- *The Top Secret* (2016)
- *Scoop!* (2016)
- *Mogura no Uta: Hong Kong Crazy Night* (2016)
